We are a leading event hire company providing a wide range of high-quality furniture and tableware for weddings, corporate events, hotels, and venues. Recently, we expanded our services with a reusable cup solution, helping venues reduce waste and support more sustainable events.
What developments have you made in your responsible plastic management journey?
To date, our reusable cup scheme has helped venues across Belfast eliminate over 1 million single-use plastic cups, keeping them out of landfill and reducing waste across the city, we have also started separating our plastics from general waste so they can be recycled further reducing what we are sending to landfill
What responsible plastic management achievements have you made in 2026 so far?
As a company, we have achieved the Plaque recognition for being a plastic-conscious organisation, demonstrating our commitment to reducing plastic waste and promoting sustainable practices. Personally, I have also completed the Plastic Literacy training, which I found highly informative and valuable in increasing my understanding of plastic pollution, responsible consumption, and the role individuals and businesses can play in creating positive environmental change.
How has RPM Program assisted in your journey?
RPM have supported us through advice, training programmes, and introductions to industry contacts who have provided guidance on reducing our overall waste and improving our resource efficiency.
What are your 2026 Plastic Free July goals?
2026 goals are to continue working towards reducing our waste and trying to encourage more Venues, festivals and events to use our reusable cups and eliminate more single use plastics from going to landfill.
