MarinTrust

MarinTrust is a programme that is dedicated to marine ingredient production factories, allowing them to gain recognition for their sourcing and production of marine ingredients. We want to improve responsible fishery sourcing and production of marine ingredients globally and aim to keep improving the responsible sourcing and production of global marine ingredients through an accessible programme of certification. For MarinTrust, “responsible” describes the practices and behaviours that are expected of MarinTrust-certified sites, while “sustainable” is the goal to be achieved collectively by the marine ingredient sector as a result of these responsible practices and behaviours.
